Reunion on March 29, 2002

19TH ANNUAL COX FAMILY REUNION

SMUTEYE, ALABAMA – This year, we will host the 2002 Cox Family Reunion on March 29-30 in Smuteye, Alabama.  We invite you to join us for both the Friday reception and the Saturday main event at the Cox Plantation.

At 6:00 p.m. Friday night, we will gather at the Big House to welcome everyone, share hospitality, and weather permitting, enjoy a campfire with toasted marshmallows. The renovation is progressing nicely, but is not yet finished.

On Saturday, the reunion's main event will take place at the Pavilion.  We'll get started about noon and eat about 2:00 p.m.   The farm will be at its Easter best!   We expect to have a new quarter horse foal to show off and look forward to sharing the spring plantation with you.

On Easter Sunday, please attend the service of your choice.

As in the past, we are not designating a reunion hotel this year, rather, you may stay where you choose.

We continue our policy of not collecting money at the reunion, however we couldn’t host the reunion without everyone’s generous donations.

If you would like to send a donation, it will be greatly appreciated.  Make checks payable to Cox Family Heritage Farm, Inc. If you plan to bring food instead, please let Margaret know in advance so she can plan appropriately.

Don't forget - this is an outdoor event.  Be sure to dress comfortably and casually.  In other words..."No high heels."
